75th Anniversary of D-Day

Last February I visited Omaha Beach/ the D-Day landing site. A place i’ve been wanting to experience for sometime. Earlier in the day, my family and I went to the Mémorial de Caen (WW2 museum) to have a “reminder” history lesson of the WAR and especially D-Day. I highly recommend the museum. So heavy! A bit overwhelming…

Next stop Omaha Beach. Here you can get the perspective of both the Allied forces and the Germans. Kinda trippy walking around and seeing all the families enjoying themselves; kids playing in the large bomb craters.

75 years ago today the scene was much different.

Taste of Mexico

2018 - Jalisco, Mexico

You gotta love Mexico!

Moto in the Super Bloom

During the “super boom” in the Southern California I joined the Fox Racing Legion Crew for a ride to capture the poppies before they were gone.

Damaged 120mm Black and White film

I am not sure exactly why this film looks the way it does. I have an old bag of 120mm as well as 35mm film stored in a drawer in my office. I know it is old. It may have been in the fridge at one point? Hey - you never know what you are going to get and I love that (sometimes) especially when shot with my Holga.
